How Much Does A Notary cost?

Main Fees

General Notary

$15

$15 per signature. For example, if the document requires 3 signatures from the client, then the total cost for signatures is $45.

Travel Fees

$20

For services within 15 miles roundtrip, there is a flat fee of $20. However, there may be an additional $1 per mile above 15 miles roundtrip.

Oaths and Affirmations

$15

$15 per oath or affirmation administered as a standalone Notarial act. Typically there is only 1 oath needed per customer, if any.

Specialty Fees

Trust Package

$150

This price is based on 10+ TOTAL signatures needing Notarization and also includes Travel Fees. Any less than 10 signatures will be priced as "General Notary".

Loan Signing

$150

This price is based on 7+ TOTAL signatures needing Notarization and also includes Travel AND Printing Fees. Any less than 7 signatures will be priced as "General Notary".

Circumstantial 

Late Fees

$1

There is a 15 minute grace period for appointments (15 minutes after appointment start-time). However, each minute past the grace period will add 1$ per minute late. This is in addition to all other fees.

Holiday Fees

$15

The Bay's Best Notary is generally considered closed on holidays. However, if an appointment is scheduled on a holiday, an additional $15 fee may be applied.

Printing Fee

After-Hour Fee

$1

If a signer does not have a way to print their documents, I may be able to print it on their behalf and bring the documents to the Notary appointment. This fee is charged at an additional $1 per page printed. Specific requirements apply.

An additional $15 fee may be applied for appointments scheduled outside of normal business hours. However, this fee can be waived depending on if scheduled 24 hours in advance.
